Do I really need to take all the medicine I’m on?

Probably not! Although many medications are necessary, our thorough interview and examination process will often reveal that you may not need to take many of the medications you are currently on. The human body has an incredible natural ability to heal itself . Why do doctors spend 2 minutes with me and run out of the room?

Doctors working in today’s harsh financial environment are often rushed to see as many people as they can. At Trinity, we take a different approach. Your journey in becoming the healthiest version of yourself requires a thorough and detailed evaluation. Our physicians, David Kuhn, MD, Christina Oliva, DNP, ARNP-C, and Luz Rosario, MD are unique in their approach and philosophy. During your office visit you will find our physicians to be respectful, compassionate, and eager to take the time necessary to ensure all your questions have been answered, and you have an understanding about your current health, medical conditions, and the medications you take. When offering explanation and education, our physicians speak with you in a clear and understandable manner without using complex medical terminology.

Why do doctor’s offices feel so cold and sterile?

They don’t have to! At Trinity, you will discover a warm, comfortable office setting designed to feel like you’re in own living room. You will always be greeted with a welcoming smile. Our office staff is friendly, professional, and truly care about your health. When you are comfortable and relaxed, your health care experience will surpass anything you have known before.

What is preventative medicine and why do I need it?

Like the old saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Our preventative programs are designed to discover diseases you may be prone to developing, and help you to stop it before it happens! This requires a thorough evaluation of health maintenance items including colon, breast, and prostate cancer screening, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other cardiovascular conditions, smoking and tobacco use, obesity, mental health, bone health, lifestyle, and environment. With this information in hand, we can design a personalized preventative health care plan that you take home with you. Everybody should have a preventative health evaluation!

Do you accept insurance?

Absolutely! We accept all major carriers and plans including Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, TRICARE, and many Medicare advantage plans. Not only that, our friendly financial and insurance specialists can help answer questions about policy and coverages for your plan as it pertains to our services!

What conditions and diseases do you treat?

Our philosophy is not to treat diseases, but rather to treat the patient. By truly getting to know you, your family, lifestyle and background, we work to discover WHY you have been diagnosed with a particular disease. We utilize a multi-disciplinary approach which yields better results and more convenience for the patient. No matter what your disease, including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, heart failure, kidney disease, obesity, COPD, asthma, coronary artery disease, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and everything else, we help guide you through the complexities of these conditions and offer cutting-edge therapeutic options.
